Director of Visual and Performing Arts

Sarah Walko has been the Director of Visual and Performing Arts at the Neighborhood House since 2023. Sarah is an artist, director, curator and writer, who prior to joining us served as Director of Education and Community Engagement at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, Director of Arts Programming at Marble House Project and Executive Director of Triangle Arts Association’s International Visual Artists Workshop and Residency Program. Sarah is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design (MFA, Painting, Sculpture and Installation) and the University of Maryland (BFA, Painting and Printmaking).
